I am incredibly sorry that last week was also a complete fail with regards to the blog! I’ve had a pretty crappy week and a bit with regards to health issues, so I haven’t have the motivation or energy to really update with what I intended to. I’m sorry, and I will hopefully have an update regarding it when I get results and whatnot.
Anywhoob, I hope that you all had a fantastic festive season with your families, whether you celebrate Christmas or not! We had a very quiet Christmas in my house, mainly because it was the first Christmas without my Grandad being here. We all had a lovely day, but we could definitely tell something was missing throughout the whole day.
Jordan came round again to spend the day with us and I absolutely love it when he and my dad get together and have a good old chat. For the past 2 years, it’s been the highlight of my day to listen to the conversations they have, and I’m so glad that they get on so well!
I didn’t get much in the way of gifts, simply because there was nothing I wanted, but Jordan did buy me a pair of Wild Aqua Dr Marten boots! I absolutely adore them, but they rub my heels something rotten… I think i’m going to have to get the hammer out and soften the heel a bit so that I don’t get blisters on my blister’s blisters!
I also bought myself a ps4 with some of the money I recieved; if you know me, I’ve wanted one for a while, and as I worked in a video game store when they released, it was a bit like torture when I couldnt afford one myself. Finally, though, I have my own which comes with Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout 4 and the Uncharted Collection (seriously, Nathan Drake is the most awesome guy in game history… with Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect coming in a very close second!!)
I can’t wait for it to arrive so that I can start doing some playthroughs for this blog for my MMOnday (yes, I know this blog should have been a MMOnday blog, but I haven’t had time to prepare anything! :( ).
Anyway, I’m going to head off and relax as I have work in the morning. Why can’t we get paid for sleeping? I’d be a millionaire by now if you could!
