I admit that I spend way too much time looking down; whether it’s on my phone, looking where I’m walking or just simply directing my attention elsewhere.
The UK isn’t known for having the best weather, so when the sun does come out, I’ve decided that I need to look up and appreciate it more. Take today for example; for the past two days, the weather has been mostly wet and windy, with the occasional breakthrough of sunshine later on in the evening.
Today, I was planning to go out and do a bit of gardening and sow some more seeds, but the rain was unrelenting (and I was running on two-hours sleep) so I stayed in bed and tried to rest up instead. After a 3 hour nap, I woke up sweating – the sun had finally decided to make an appearance!
I tore open my curtains, grabbed my camera and snapped a photo of the clear blue sky – something that I only occasionally appreciate. I’ve made it my mission from now on to look up daily and try and find a cloud that looks like something – it makes it more interesting, right?
What do you see in this cloud? I can definitely see some kind of grumpy deer face in the cloud at the top – must be reflecting my mood from this morning at the torrential rain and lack of sleep!
